Influenced by my artist parents who had a passion for gardening and interiors, I became captivated by a crystal bowl filled with coral and paperwhite bulbs many years ago.

 

My career began working in urban regeneration in Cape Town, followed by moving to London with Sheppard Robson Architects.  I studied garden design under John Brooks at RBG Kew and then worked at Elizabeth Banks in historical garden restorations , assisting Tom Stuart-Smith and Todd Longstaffe-Gowan.

 

After many years in the corporate world, I launched The English Potted Plant Co. during Lockdown as a small online venture. Since then, we've tackled a variety of projects from expansive country gardens to Mayfair street boxes, hand planting over 2,000 antique and vintage potted plants in the last five years!

I love to bring a sense of continuity to all my projects and create beautiful pieces which are timeless but functional.
