Join us in our 17th century barn the day before Mothering Sunday to pot up a selection of our beautiful antique and vintage containers. Julia will demonstrate:

• How she selects containers for interest and practicality

• How to choose plants - what works well and what dosn't

• The materials we use for potting up our containers

• Practical potting-up and 'tricks of the trade'

• How to make a good 'Pot et Fleur'

• Presentation and after-care tips for your potted plants

 

The course costs £95.00 and includes:

1. A choice of bulbs & plants

2. All the bits that go into potting up (grit, moss, compost etc)

3. A container from our range of vintage and antique pots for you to plant up and take home with you.

 

We'll have some local charcuterie & cheeses  on arrival and then we'll get cracking as soon as possible. Tea and coffee will be served throughout the afternoon, ending with a special kitchen tea to celebrate Mothering Sunday with Fizz & delicious cakes before you go home!
