Julia shares her tricks of the trade as she shows you how she pots-up her antique containers with seasonal plants for home & garden

Join us the day before Mothering Sunday to pot up a selection of our beautiful antique and vintage containers. Julia will demonstrate:

• How she selects containers for interest and practicality

• How to choose plants - what works well and what dosn't

• The materials we use for potting up our containers

• Practical potting-up and 'tricks of the trade'

• Presentation and after-care tips

The course covers the cost of the plants and all the bits that go into potting up (grit, moss, compost etc) and we will have a range of our vintage and antique containers for you to choose from - prices starting from £20 upwards - for you to pot-up yourself. All our potted plants will also be for sale including our Mothers Day collection of antique loving cups (if not pre-sold on order).

We'll have some local cheeses and nibbles on arrival and then get cracking as soon as possible. Tea and coffee will flow with plenty of sweet things and savouries, and you're very welcome to bring your own fizzy beverages if you so wish - glasses will be provided!
