A very festive Ruby Red cut glass etched, footed bowl in excellent condition - possibly 1960's. Originally made in Bohemia, ruby red glass became very popular in the US from the 1870's onwards and was made by glasshouses like the New England Glass Co. of Massachusetts. Considered collectible, but fun anyway - we have planted our bowl with white hyacinths to sit on a Christmnas table - certainly a conversation piece!
