A very beautiful large scalloped pedestal bowl with handpainted botanical pattern of what looks like Hemerocalis or day lilies, showing the whole bulb, leaves and buds. Has elegant shape with gilt edge rim and delicate handpainted floral patterns on the outside. The bowl unusually,  has no markings but it looks very similar to Doulton Burslem c1880-1900 patterns of the time - intricatte artist decoration with a strong Art Nouveau influence.  30cm diameter 12cm height.

We have planted the bowl with deep cerise Phalaenopisis orchids in an inner bowl and natural moss. The orchid will flower for weeks and would make an extremely romantic Valentines Day flower gift!

We include the provenance along with detailed care instructions for growing the orchids.   The orchids will flower again next season, and the bowl can be re-used as a bulb planter or for decorative purposes as the designs are really very special. The perfect sustainable way to to have scented flowers in your home over winter and nothing single-use about any element!

Our potted plants makes the perfect gift and come with a personalised gift card carefully packed in our compostable recycled straw boxes and shipped overnight throughout the UK with the option of our very pretty handblocked tissue paper and vintage velvet ribbon gift wrapping.
