A beautifully colourful Imari-style chinoiserie porcelain marked pattern No. 2/8931 which we have not yet been able to identify but we heavily suspect Minton 1860'-1880's - given some very similar Minton bowls that we have seen of this period. High quality transferware work with gilt still in very good condition given the age. No chips or cracks, just some rubbing around base and rim commensurate with age.
Planted with with fragrant white hyacinths — a living centrepiece of timeless English style. The hyacinths will flower for several weeks with the most exquisite scent and the added pleasure of being able to re-plant the bulbs into the garden after they have finished flowering and re-use the very handsome bowl for potted bulbs and flower arrangements.
We offer gift wrapping with beautiful Cambridge Imprint paper, a festive bow and personalised gift card. Couriered with Royal Mail Tracked 24 with next day delivery. Carefully packed and shipped to arrive healthy. Full care notes included. If you have any issues on arrival, please contact me — I’m always happy to help.
