A hand crafted Darlington crystal Primavera ‘Optics’ hyacinth vase which was also designed as a candle holder.  Designed by Frank Thrower, this piece is listed in the Smithsons book “ Dartington glass the first twenty years.” 
 
Originally introduced in 1983 (or 1986) this is considered an iconic Frank Thrower desig and was manufactured in Devon. It still has its original sticker on but does not carry the etched D or dartington on the base which was done after the death of Frank Thrower in 1987.
