Very pretty early Victorian porcelain tea slops bowl in excellent condition, no chips or cracks and handpainted colour on transferware pattern still so vivid. The pattern feaures elderberries on branches and foliage. A lilac line is on the pedestal while the top rim has a matching accent. The interior shows a smaller bunch of elderberries. The absence of a makers mark is typical of the era.
Generously planted in an inner pot with pretty deep pink Cyclamen Coum to match the pattern, Hyacinthoides non-scripta/English Bluebells and Narcissus Tete a tete - all of which are in early bud and will flower for weeks and can then be planted out into the garden for next season.
Dimensions: 8cm high and 16cm diameter
