An charming vase by SylvaC which comes with it's own intricate wire frog for flower arranging, a wavy pedestal shape on faux bois legs.  The company, Shaw and Copestake (SylvaC) was founded in 1894 by William Copestake and William Shaw, in Longton, Stoke-On-Trent,although the trade name SylvaC wasnt registered until 1937.  Central to the SylvaC line throughout its history were figurines of animals, and rabbits in particular.  Many variations of Toby Jugs were produced, including 'character' versions which celebrated events or tied into product advertising.SylvaC pieces are not rare although this vase is very unusual, collectable. and their best pieces can fetch high prices. This vase has a distinctively 1050's vibe but as we have not found any reference to it, hard to say.

We've planted it up with Cyclament Coum to match the pattern colours and Muelenbeckia, both of which will grow indoors in a cool place and when they start to outgrow the bowl can either be replanted into a larger container or out into the garden to flower again next season.
