This ironstone bowl was exclusively made for Crabtree & Evelyn and debuted in the 1980s and continued into the 1990s. It was sold strictly through Crabtree & Evelyn retail stores in England and North America, packaged alongside their luxury bath products or as independent country-style table decorations. 
 
The bowl was manufactured in Staffordshire by Masons  who are well known for their famous ironstone pottery since the late 18th century. The bowl is officially catalogued by collectors simply as the Mason's "Blue & White" line. It is heavily influenced by 19th-century English chintz designs, featuring dense, intertwining panels of cobalt blue roses, peonies, and delicate foliage.
 
The bowl is large and in perfect condition. It is potted-up generously with three 4-spiked white 'Opti-Flor' phaleonopsis which are the gold standard of Dutch orchids. Planted in an inner bowl with orchid bark and our propreitary mix, the orchids will flower for months and can potted on into larger bowls if they outgrow this bowl.
 
Our potted plants come with carefully researched provenances and detailed plant care instructions. We also offer gift wrap using Cambridge Imprint paper and a handwritten card. Packed very carefully with recycled packaging and shipped overnight with Royal Mail Tracked 24 within 5 working days.
