This classic "Traditional Blue Willow" Chinoiserie style depicts an elaborate oriental landscape featuring pagodas, a bridge, a weeping willow tree, and characteristic geometric borders. Made by Allertons in Staffordshire c 1890–1915.

An ornate deep bulbous body, twin scrolling handles, and specific rim proportion define this as a covered sugar bowl, but without the lid. In good condiiton, planted with Opti-Flor miniature phaleonopsis.
