A large Victorian bone china flow ware loving cup planted with primroses, unmarked so hard to date, but judging by the chinoiserie pattern and use of blue & white flow ware, it would have been manufactored  between the 1860's and 1880's in the Staffordshire potteries. Sadly has a a large crack more noticeable in the inside of the cup going from one of the handles and curving downwards, so could not be used as a vase, but still good as a planter. The condition is reflected in the price and shown in the photos.

A loving cup is a double-handled mug commonly used at weddings to celebrate the happy couple’s union and to symbolise the pledge they have made to one another. They are also frequently used at livery companies and City of London banquets as a toast to friendship and fraternity. They were particularly popular during the Victorian times for their sentimental and commemorative value.
