Very pretty fluted bowl with scalloped edge and sepia coloured transfer ware with handpainted details. No makers mark but a small green heart on the base. Lovely footed bute shape. It could be Pratt Ware judging by the decoration which places it at late Georgian/early Victorain period. 
 
Apart from some small speckles in the glaze on the foot, the condition is very good - no chips or cracks at all.
 
Planted up with scented geranium P. Fragrans with its recognisable cinnamon scent and pretty, prolific white flowers. Our scented geraniums are planted carefully in their antique bowl, will flower all summer long and can be over-wintered back in their terracotta pots. We enclose detailed instructions on their care and the provenance of the bowl. A very pretty piece.
