Antique Pearlware, Hand Painted, Small Pedestal Bowl planted up with miniature white daffidols very similar to N.Thalia. The hand decorated pattern,is in good condition with clear pink / red, green and blue on a white ground. Would display beautifully. Minor bluish glaze pooling, typical of pearlware, evident on underside.
Pearlware preceded ironstone in 1813 and was very popular around the turn of the 19th century for its porcelain-like appearance. No makers mark unfortunately but this would have been manufactured at the turn of the 19th century. The bowl has a couple of issues in the form of a couple of shortish thin hairlines from the rim - see pics. These do not destabilise the bowl and are not really noticeable and are reflected in the price.
Couriered with Royal Mail Tracked 24. Come with full plant care instructions and bowl's provenance.
