Antique Burleigh 'Regal Peacosk' pattern first introduced it in 1913. The design famously caught the attention of Queen Mary during a royal visit to the Middleport factory in 1913, cementing its place as one of the pottery's most distinguished and enduring ranges

The pattern heavily mimics 19th-century English Chinoiserie styles that were natively adapted from Chinese export porcelain. Using Burleigh's world-famous underglaze tissue transfer printing process, Burleigh remains the only pottery factory in the world that still preserves and uses this traditional, labour-intensive method.

Condition is very good for its age,  colours remain bright and unfaded, pattern crisp and complete. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs of any kind. Only the faintest gentle wear to the outer base rim, commensurate with age. Planted up generously with hyacinths and natural moss with our proprietary compost mix, the hyacinths will flower for weeks with their gorgeous scent and when they have finished flowering can then be planted into the garden. Choice of colours for the hyacinths, please see options.

Our potted plants come with carefully researched provenances and detailed plant care instructions. We also offer gift wrap using Cambridge Imprint paper and a handwritten card.

Packed very carefully with recycled packaging and shipped overnight with Royal Mail Tracked 24 within 5 working days. Please note we do not ship on Thursday and Fridays to avoid boxes sitting in warehouses over the weekend. Please let us know if your plant has a specific deadline.
